Inspired by the ideas of Afrofuturism, my work explores the complex intersections of race, culture, and identity through the lens of digital media. Using a language of sharp shapes, bold colors, and symbolic body parts, I construct visually compelling digital collages that critique societal systems while delving into personal and collective Black experiences. These images embody power, conflict, and resilience, revealing deeper meanings beneath serene surfaces. By blending traditional mark-making with digital manipulation, I question cultural narratives and invite viewers to reconsider their perspectives on race, technology, and the future of Black identity. My art aims to highlight the often-overlooked richness of Black experiences while envisioning a future that integrates Black culture as a vital force in shaping our shared reality.
